Thoughts and prayers for the victims, families and witnesses of the Boston Marathon tragedy and to the First Responders who are called upon time and time again to deal with the worst that humanity can inflict upon humanity.
Here, here! I'm becoming just like those "rubber neckers" I used to hate at accident scenes, only it's with the media reports. Been glued to my television ever since I heard about it...even though I was on a cruise ship at the time! The whole thing is atrocious! The incident and the media's response to it.
It was shocking to me the number of people who were complaining after 4 days that they hadn't caught anyone yet. From a law enforcement perspective, the speed at which they identified the suspects from the mountains of photos and videos they had to go through, is nothing short of amazing. Kudos to all of the police who worked the front lines and to those that carried on with the routine every day work which allowed the others to do their jobs.
